Terra Waste Management uses sustainable solar power to reduce waste collection by up to 80%, thus lowering operational costs, decreasing carbon footprint, and creating a cleaner environment within our communities.
The monolithic design of the Terra Public hides a regular plastic bin, while the outsides house a polycarbonate solar panel, sensors and a GPS locator. Built-in waste compactor increases the 120 L volume of the container fivefold. Administrators can see as it fills up so they can manage collection routes efficiently and promptly respond to current events. Resistant to all atmospheric conditions, the shell houses a resilient polycarbonate solar panel that feeds an intelligent Li-Ion battery needed to power the waste compactor inside the inner bin. Sensors in the body and a GPS locator connect to Solos dashboard so you can check the location and status of every Terra Public in your care at all times.
The modular and simple design of the Terra public can allows much-needed flexibility to add features that are important to unique community needs. Most components can be easily serviced, replaced, and upgraded even after the installation.
Terra improves the speed and efficiency of waste collection. Remote access control through RFID cards eliminates the need for physical keys, while optimized route planning on the Solos platform saves time. Trash bins without plastic bags allow for faster truck loading. Finally, end-users have a hands-free waste disposal experience with a set of sensors that automatically open the Terra doors, or manually using a foot pedal.
